How it started, how it’s going I’ve lost 53 pounds !!!! Almost 2.5 years later I am happy to say it the way they lost has been staying off. 2 Morpheus8 treatments to face and neck. Slow and steady. Lifestyle Change during Covid and the lockdowns I was slowly gaining weight. I was also very tired. I didn’t think much of it because I was doing less activity. Then I went for my annual physical and I found out I was hypothyroid or severely under active thyroid. Apparently it was getting worse for a few years. I started treatment for hypothyroidism, and I’m still not normal yet but I’m still getting treatment to improve my thyroid function. I don’t post many personal information but I thought this story would be interesting and helpful.I didn’t use any trainers, trend diets, memberships, etc. I did it using my own knowledge as a clinical nutritionist and physician. Keep it simple. I started eating organic fresh food. Eating three times a day. Cutting out or limiting snacks. Avoid late night eating. Intermittent fasting five days a week for 16 hours. And a big part of my lifestyle change was portion control. How long am I gonna stay on this diet? I’m not on a diet I change my lifestyle. 2-3 times a week of weightlifting, walking 3-5 miles a day. That’s where having a dog is helpful. I haven’t reached my goal yet. Feel free to ask any questions.
